Chyten Educational Center in Westlake Village announces a special evening with featured speaker Risa Gruberger, MA., M. Ed., LMFT of the Ludington Institute for Family Enrichment, who will discuss how parents and children can manage the anxiety of 11th grade – school, social life, extra-curricular activities, SAT/ACT, college planning, and more. The special evening will be held at 7:00 p.m. on November 15th at Chyten’s center located at 2900 Townsgate Road, Suite 103.
Risa, a former school Principal and College Dean, and now a practicing Marriage and Family Therapist, regularly provides workshops, lectures and in-service training, and has appeared on television and has published materials on innovative approaches to parenting. Risa regularly speaks on how children and families can manage the stress of school.
The special evening will also feature a complimentary cupcake bar from local baker Sweet Arleen’s, which has twice been crowned winner of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars.
