The Center for Spiritual Living, Westlake Village is pleased to announce award-winning author and teacher Dennis Merritt Jones who will speak at the Sunday, July 31st, 10:00 a.m. Sunday celebration service on “The Art Of Uncertainty” and facilitate an afternoon workshop entitled: “Living In The Mystery Of Life…And Loving It!”
The workshop will begin at 1:00 p.m and end at 4:00 p.m. Dr. Jones will also sign his newest release: “The Art of Uncertainty: How to Live in the Mystery of Life and Love It” (Tarcher /Penguin paperback, June 9).
There is no area of our lives where we are not forced to step onto the pathway of uncertainty at one point or another. This includes our relationships, careers, physical health, finances, and so on. Why not enter the mystery consciously and intentionally every day? As we make living in the mystery a daily practice, we prepare ourselves for the adventure regardless of whether we are pushed onto the pathway of uncertainty by inspiration or desperation, by pleasure or pain. In either case, we shall discover it is a journey we can learn to love. What might be your motivation for coming to the edge of uncertainty? Based on Dennis’ latest book, The Art of Uncertainty ~ How to Live in the Mystery of Life and Love It, this workshop is dedicated to helping you explore this question in a most extraordinary way. It’s time to come to the edge!
During this experiential workshop you will learn:
How to come to the edge of your uncertainties with trust and faith.
The power of making conscious choices and how to know which are correct.
To know when it’s time to “let go” of ____________ (fill in the blank) and move on.
How to embrace “what is” in the moment and be at peace with it.
How to understand your fears and use them for your growth and well being.
Learn mindfulness practices that will align you with Presence in the present.
Tuition: $25 per person, or two family members for $45 if paid by July 24th. Thereafter, $30 for all attendees.
Dennis Merritt Jones has been involved in the human potential movement and the field of Spirituality as a minister, teacher, spiritual mentor, and keynote lecturer for more than twenty-six years. He was the founder and spiritual director of The Center for Spiritual Living in Simi Valley, California, where he lives, and is the author of “How to Speak Science of Mind and The Art ofBeing – 101 Ways To Practice Purpose In Your Life.”
Dennis retired from the pulpit in 2008 to take his message to the world by means of his books, spiritual mentoring, consulting, keynote speaking and seminars.
