According to Ventura County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Sergeant Don Aguilar,
Ventura County Sherffi's Department news release
about 9:43 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, a fatal stabbing occurred at the intersection of Lindero Canyon Road and Bowfield Street in Thousand Oaks. Two male subjects were involved in an altercation that left both injuried. One subject was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, the other succumbed to his wounds at the scene.
The investigation is continuing to determine what prompted the altercation and the relationship between the two subjects. The injured subject’s name has not been released due to the ongoing investigation.
