The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura invites friends and neighbors to the 3rd Annual Gingerbread House Event, 1– 3:30 p.m., Sunday, November 14. Amazing gingerbread houses created by leading local chefs will be on display and children will be able to reserve time slots to make their own gingerbread creations. An “opportunity drawing” will be held (drawing tickets are $5) for the chance to win one of the amazing chef-created gingerbread houses.

The cost for the event is $5 per family (of up to four persons). The $5 charge to participate in this fun event can be used toward the purchase of a Holiday Homes Tour ticket if you purchase the ticket at the Gingerbread Event. The event will be held at The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura, 530 Hampshire Rd., Westlake Village. Please call (805) 379-4777 to RSVP and reserve a time slot for your children.

The Gingerbread House Event kicks off The Wellness Community’s holiday celebration, which features the 19th Annual Holiday Homes Tour on Dec. 4-5. The self-guided tour of Conejo Valley homes is the organization’s largest fundraiser, with proceeds helping to fund free programs of support, education and hope for people fighting cancer and for their families. Tickets for the tour will be available for $30 at the Gingerbread House Event, with the $5 participation fee going toward the $30 tour ticket price. To purchase tour tickets online visit www.TwcVv.org or call (805) 379-4777.
