Is it a Bird? No, A Plane? No, It’s Santa parachuting into Janss Marketplace for the holiday season.
ovember 26 with a first ever parachute landing in Thousand Oaks. Families are invited to watch Santa’s landing at noon in the Janss Marketplace parking lot.
The holiday celebration continues until 3 p.m. with Santa Photos, storytelling with Mrs. Claus, a real snow play area, train rides, kid’s crafts, face painting, balloon artist, free crafts and much more.
Toys for Tots launches its annual holiday toy drive at the Janss Marketplace event. Bring unwrapped, new toys to donate for children in need through Christmas Eve to donation boxes in front of Toys R Us.
Follow Santa to his Workshop on November 26 to get a free photo with a fantasy green screen backdrop of your choice, ranging from winter wonderland to a flying sled set.
Bring a Janss Marketplace store receipt of $50 or more dated November 26, 2010 to receive a free photo until 3 p.m. Photos, with prices starting at $14.95, can also be purchased on November 26, with all proceeds donated to Toys 4 Tots.
Santa’s Workshop will be across from Toys R Us. Children can tell Santa their holiday wishes and pose with Santa for photos at Santa’s Workshop through December 24. Visit www.janssmarketplace.net for Santa’s Workshop hours.
Gift With Purchase: On November 26, bring receipts for purchases dated between November 19 – 26, 2010, totaling $100 from one, or multiple Janss Marketplace merchants, to the redemption table near Burlington Coat Factory to get a FREE $10 American Express gift card. Maximum number of free gift cards is five per person, one for each $100 in receipts.
Starting on November 26, Janss Marketplace invites holiday shoppers to support the United Cancer Advocacy Action Network at the Gift Wrap Headquarters, located next to Radio Shack. Gift-wrap hours are 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Friday, November 26 – Sunday, December 5, and Thursday, December 16 – Saturday, December 25. Suggested donation is $3 – $10 per holiday, Christmas or Hanukah gift-wrap, depending on package size. Janss Marketplace will donate all gift-wrap proceeds to UCAAN.
