The city of Thousand Oaks is seeking applicants interested in contributing their talents toward shaping the quality of life in the community by serving on city committees. Currently, the city is recruiting for eight openings on the newly established cultural affairs commission.
Applicants must be active in performing arts, visual arts, and/or philanthropy for the arts. Applicants must also be at least 18 years of age, citizen of the U.S., and majority of full membership of CAC must reside within city limits. Upon appointment, members are also required to file Statement of Economic Interests Form 700.
The CAC is a City Council appointed committee that will serve as an advisory body to the City Council on matters pertaining to the arts and cultural development in the city with priority focus on the Thousand Oaks Performing Arts Center’s Fred Kavli Theatre and Scherr Forum Theatre.
